Random Background Picker ( Multiple Time Options)

How to use:
Click on one of the programs ONCE (1st changes every hour, 2nd changes every 10 minutes, 3rd changes every 10 seconds and 4th allows for custom image range choice and custom delay)
Allow internet access (try running as Admin if program fails to work)
Enjoy your random wall paper!
(WARNING: NOT ALL IMAGES MAY BE APPROPRIATE)

This text was taken from the instruction file. Gets random images or images from a specific category and applies them as wall paper every user selected time period. Careful with this one as extremely big values will crash the program and small values may lag your computer or use up large amounts of bandwidth. Enjoy!

Microbit Musical Instrument

I put together a very simple instrument using my BBC Microbit. All you need to do to make your own is download the hex file here to the Microbit then rig it up to a speaker or headphones with a crocodile clip as shown in the diagram below. Pressing the 'A' button makes the tone go up by a single note while the 'B' button makes the tone go down a single note. A value lower than -10 or higher than 10 is automatically set back to 0. 'A+B' plays the note. I advise putting a piece of plastic on the buttons to allow both buttons to be pressed easily at once while still allowing for each button to be pressed individually. Have fun and subscribe to this page for more cool things!

How better celebrate the release of Super Smash Bros Ultimate than with this Smash themed stand? Holds a Nintendo switch (obviously).

CS:GO New free-to-play complete version out now.

In an interesting move, valve has made one of it's most profitable games, CS:GO completely free (ignoring the paid option that seems only to exist as compensation for the paying players). This is likely to help increase the dying player base and make more money of microtransactions, skins and loot boxes. Opening the flood gates may have some negative consequences, but time will tell. You can get it here if your interested:

Game Of The Month: Farcry 2

This months game of the month is Farcry2. Often considered the best game in the series, Farcry2 was an innovator of world design with a world that holds up even to this very day and is often sited as an example for how to build a believable and engaging world. It also has one of the most unique openings to a game I can think of. You begin the game in a cab headed for a hotel. You plan to assassinate the famous arms dealer know only as 'The Jackal'. However, before you reach the hotel, you get bitten by a mosquito, and are infected with malaria. You then awake in a hotel room with the very man you were sent to kill staring you in the face. This sets the tone for the entire game and effectively presents the main antagonist to the player. The game also has the forgotten but great amBX feature, allowing for amBX compatible devices to take in game scenarios and parallel them in the real world (changing local lighting conditions, causing vibrations and wind etc). This system has seemingly been forgotten about, but defiantly makes the experience more unique if you can track down any amBX compatible products. Overall, this game is a brilliant sandbox shooter that allows you to deal with any situation in the way you want within a beautiful and well designed world full of interesting content. As an added bonus, it almost runs on any device, so you won't have to worry about investing in a gaming pc. I would recommend this experience to anyone who fancies a long and deeply engaging game with gritty realism to play for a while. Stay tuned for next months game of the month!
